Rick Gang BA is a dedicated and skilled home care professional with nearly 30 years of experience managing home care operations at multiple organizational levels. As a co-founder of Holistic HomeCare Associates and its CEO, he oversees the business and client service delivery to assure complete client satisfaction. As a seasoned home care expert, Rick can quickly and accurately understand a client’s situation and strives to educate them to the home care landscape and options so that they can make informed decisions about the care they are requesting. The proprietary methods of screening, vetting, interviewing, and especially the matching of clients and caregivers are all products of Rick’s vision to transform private hire care for his clients’ benefit. Rick and the Holistic team offer full employer support services and are proud to feature a new powerful software solution that simplifies and streamlines the entire employment process while facilitating compliance and ease of use. Rick also enjoyed serving his community for over 28 years as a member of law enforcement, lastly serving as a Deputy Sheriff in Westchester County, NY. He has also served on local senior center advisory boards as well as a handful of other civic-minded volunteer positions. He is a proud father of three kids (River 21, Sam 13, Ryan 6).
Anne Sansevero RN, MA, GNP, CCM is a geriatric nurse practitioner, a certified care manager, and a fellow of the Leadership Academy of the Aging Life Care ® Association (ALCA). She has a sub-specialty in neurological disorders and is a clinical expert in helping clients and their families cope with the symptoms of Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s disease, and stroke. A strong advocate for older adults, Anne serves as the President of ALCA and is President Emerita on the board of the Greater New York Chapter of ALCA. Anne is also a member of The Nurse Practitioners of New York Association and The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Julia Horton, Director of Operations (DOO), is announced as the Director of Operations (DOO), effective immediately, at Holistic HomeCare Associates. Julia, who has been with the company since 2020, has played a pivotal role in leading and growing our team and contributing positively to our company culture. Julia has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and her forward-thinking approach and innovative ideas have led to the implementation of new strategies and initiatives. This has directly improved operational workflows, company efficiency, and increased client satisfaction across all service areas. With over twenty years of experience in healthcare and home care administration, Julia has proven herself as a trusted expert in the field. Her exceptional abilities in assisting our clients with various financial matters related to payroll and account management and long-term care insurance claims processing has ensured a responsive and professional experience for our clients. We are delighted to announce Julia’s promotion as a leader within our organization and look forward to the contributions she will make to further contribute to our company’s success.
Janice Taylor, Business Executive Assistant, is the business executive assistant at Holistic HomeCare Associates and provides administrative support to the Managing Director and Business Manager. She is involved in aspects of our daily business operations, managing a diverse workload in a fast-paced and changing environment, and is a highly skilled problem solver. In a former career, Janice enjoyed a long international and critically acclaimed career as a professional opera and concert singer and brings a wealth of skills to the team from her former singing career: public relations, complex travel itinerary planning, graphic arts, writing and communications, financial management systems, and event production, with a focus on detail. She brings a willingness to go the extra mile with good humor and grace. In her personal life, Janice is a pet lover and an unabashed Star Trek fan, who enjoys exploring unknown realms of existence and thought.
Laurelyn Watson-Chase, BM, MM Scheduling Specialist, is a scheduling specialist, caregiver liaison, and screener at Holistic HomeCare Associates and assists with a variety of administrative functions, with a specialized focus on processing all new candidate inquiries and applications. Having formerly worked in talent recruitment, Laurelyn understands the complexities and nuances of the vetting, selection, and matching process. Her organizational and analytical skills and attention to detail ensure that Holistic HomeCare Associates presents clients with the highest caliber of candidates who are expertly matched to their specific needs. Laurelyn is also an accomplished professional singer, holding a master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music. She is also certified by the Sommelier Society of America.
Rebecca McDermott, BA Home Care Coordinator, is the Home Care Coordinator at Holistic HomeCare Associates and an integral part of staffing and scheduling coordination for our clients, assisting them in confidently hiring the ideal caregivers to meet their needs. With her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health, Rebecca has worked in public health and community services and brings a history and passion for helping others and solving problems, from arranging social support assistance for Covid-19 patients and families in isolation to facilitating activities between Israeli and Palestinian neighbors in the border region of East Jerusalem. On a personal level, Rebecca has cared for and helped her own family members navigate the home care process and understands the unique challenges. Her empathetic nature allows her to connect easily with both clients and caregivers. Originally from the Boston area, Rebecca loves living in New York City and enjoys exploring the city and trying new cuisines.
Shay Aslett, BA, CSA, Client Relations Manager is our Client Relations manager at Holistic HomeCare Associates. Having worked for several years within the HomeCare arena as a Billing Coordinator and Client Care Manager, she brings a good understanding of the industry at large. But beyond that, her personal experiences with family and friends navigating through respective pitfalls and triumphs of aging make her deeply empathetic to those along the same journey. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and her copywriting background directs her focus on clear communication and high attention to detail. Her combination of knowledge and empathy makes her well equipped to aid individuals and families in considering their own unique needs. In her spare time, Shay is a voracious reader and amateur ballroom dancer.
Taylor Hibler, Nursing Line Coordinator, is our Nursing Line Coordinator at Holistic HomeCare Associates. She oversees and manages the operations and client relations at our private duty nursing registry, assisting clients in hiring the nurse best matched to their needs when they require close monitoring and nursing care. With over 10 years of experience in the home care and medical field, Taylor brings a wealth of professionalism and proficiency to us and is instrumental in the management of clients’ and nurses’ ongoing scheduling and coverage or other staffing needs. Having been a caregiver herself, she is easily relatable to clients with empathy and genuine concern. In Taylor’s spare time, she enjoys attending sporting events and spending time with her family.
