Rick Gang BA is a dedicated and skilled home care professional with over twenty-five years of experience managing home care operations at multiple organizational levels. As a co-founder of Holistic HomeCare Associates and its Operations Director, he oversees client service delivery to assure complete client satisfaction. As a seasoned home care expert, Rick can quickly and accurately understand a client’s current situation and strives to educate clients to the home care landscape and options so that clients can make informed decisions about the care they are requesting. The proprietary methods of screening, vetting, interviewing, and especially the matching of clients and caregivers are all the product of Rick’s vision to transform private hire care for his clients. Rick and the Holistic team offer a full employer support service and are proud to feature a new powerful software solution that simplifies and streamlines the employment process. Rick is also a community leader having enjoyed over 28 years as a member of law enforcement, lastly serving as a sworn Deputy Sheriff in Westchester County and he has also enjoyed serving on local senior center advisory boards.
Anne Sansevero RN, MA, GNP, CCM is a geriatric nurse practitioner, a certified care manager, and a fellow of the Leadership Academy of the Aging Life Care ® Association (ALCA). She has a sub-specialty in neurological disorders and is a clinical expert in helping clients and their families cope with the symptoms of Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s disease, and stroke. A strong advocate for older adults, Anne serves as the executive on the national board of ALCA and is President of the Greater New York Chapter of ALCA. Anne is also a member of The Nurse Practitioners of New York Association and The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Bernard Tarver, BS Caregiver Liaison is a caregiver liaison and screener at Holistic HomeCare Associates and also assists with a broad range of administrative functions, including social media communications. Bernard holds a degree in journalism and political science from Syracuse University, and with his rich background in media, public relations, acting and organizational training, he is highly skilled at vetting and checking references of candidates. His considerable talents in the screening process ensure that our candidates atHolistic HomeCare Associates are among the very best in the industry.
Janice Taylor, Executive Coordinator is the executive coordinator at Holistic HomeCare Associates and manages our administrative team. She is involved in all aspects of our daily operations and is integral to the onboarding of new clients. Janice is a highly skilled problem solver and assists both clients and caregivers with all aspects of sourcing and hiring a care team. She provides clients peace of mind throughout the hiring process by providing ongoing assistance in staffing support and coverage. In a former career, Janice enjoyed an international and critically acclaimed career as a professional opera and concert singer.
Julia Horton, Payroll and Accounts Manager is the Business Manager at Holistic HomeCare Associates and brings her wealth of home care administration and payroll knowledge to our team. She assists our clients with payroll-related financial matters, assists with the setup of their Workers Comp and Disability policies and reports, and brings her expertise with Long Term Care Insurance claims processing to assure our clients a smooth experience and professional support with client/employer best practices and compliance. She has over twenty years of experience in health care, from being a caregiver herself to being an administrator of an assisted living facility where she was responsible in part for marketing, budget management, and community relations. The last eleven years of her career have specifically been focused on directing billing and payment services for home care and household payroll. She brings a unique gentle touch and superior client service skills to providing guidance to clients and caregivers alike. In her spare time, Julia is an avid baker.
Laurelyn Watson-Chase, BM, MM Caregiver Liaison is a caregiver liaison and screener at Holistic HomeCare Associates and assists with a variety of administrative functions, with a specialized focus on processing all new candidate inquiries and applications. Having formerly worked in talent recruitment, Laurelyn understands the complexities and nuances of the vetting, selection and matching process. Her organizational and analytical skills and attention to detail ensure that Holistic HomeCare Associates presents clients with the highest caliber of candidates who are expertly matched to their specific needs. Laurelyn is also an accomplished professional singer, holding a master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music. She is also certified by the Sommelier Society of America.
Meg Targun, RN, BSN, Nursing Line Manager is our Nursing Line Manager at Holistic HomeCare Associates and oversees and manages the operations and client relations at our private duty nursing registry. Meg earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University and has a strong clinical background as a registered nurse, with seven years of experience caring for acutely ill medical patients including those with cardiac and metabolic diseases, and neurological disorders such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, and cranial tumors. Meg also has clinical research knowledge and care management experience having been an integral member on a research team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Meg is a passionate advocate for clients, placing the client and their comprehensive needs at the forefront of care delivery and prides herself in her ability to listen to the needs of her clients and develop a plan of action to ensure quality care. Outside of nursing, Meg is a marathon runner, currently training for her first triathlon.
Shay Aslett, BA, CSA, Client Relations Manager is our Client Relations manager at Holistic HomeCare Associates. Having worked for several years within the HomeCare arena as a Billing Coordinator and Client Care Manager, she brings a good understanding of the industry at large. But beyond that, her personal experiences with family and friends navigating through respective pitfalls and triumphs of aging make her deeply empathetic to those along the same journey. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and her copywriting background directs her focus on clear communication and high attention to detail. Her combination of knowledge and empathy makes her well equipped to aid individuals and families in considering their own unique needs. In her spare time, Shay is a voracious reader and amateur ballroom dancer.
Taylor Hibler, Home Care Coordinator, is the Home Care Coordinator at Holistic HomeCare Associates and provides suitable caregiver candidates to our Client Relations Manager for new and existing clients. With over 10 years of experience in the home care and medical field, she brings a wealth of professionalism and organization to us and is instrumental in the management of clients’ and caregivers’ ongoing scheduling and coverage or other staffing needs. Having been a caregiver herself, she is easily relatable by caregivers and clients alike with empathy and genuine concern. In Taylor’s spare time, she enjoys attending sporting events and spending time with her family.
