A Milestone Worth Celebrating: 12 Lessons from 12 Years

I had worn many hats over the years—nurse practitioner, care manager, educator, advocate, and daughter. Rick, meanwhile, was practically raised in the world of aging services.

My mom was highly resistant to home care until we were able to match her with an exceptional caregiver from Holistic HomeCare Associates was exceptional. After experiencing the companionship, skilled meal preparation, and kind care, my mom’s attitude changed. She now has a regularly scheduled caregiver who accompanies her on walks, to doctor visits, cooks fantastic dishes, and handles light-duty cleaning.
